Diets, women, and world events

You know how hard it is to make yourself a salad when you have 3 guys eating hamburgers, french fries and macaroni and cheese in front of you? You mumble cuss words under your breath, I can tell you that.

This is the part of the diet I fear, because it's where I've fallen off the wagon before. Once the weight loss slows down, I get impatient and the sacrifice doesn't seem worth it. So I gradually leave off the healthy foods and go back to my old habits. I've a bit more motivation this time, so hopefully I'll perservere.

I like women, I really do. but I'm not capable of understanding them. This puts me in good company, roughly 88 percent of all men, but it still gets to me. Why would you come to a man and tell him about a problem if you don't want him to go fix it for you? I can't go into more details as she is capable of whipping me, but if I tell you about a problem, i'm looking for help.

So Bush is sending more troops to Iraq as part of his "new" plan. I'm no expert, but isn't this the same plan that didn't work before? I'm not trying to "get him" or anything, I'm simply confused.
I don't think we can win in Iraq anyway. If we do win, it will be the IRAQI's who win because they are going to have to get the government and the nation working like it should. We can't do that. On the other hand, if we lose, it will be our defeat, because we have brought the chaos, bloodshed and civil war to them. Hopefully we/they can pull it out, but it's not gonna happen in the few months Bush is sending those troops over for. Feel free to comment, I'm looking for answers.

Well, that's all for now, I was gonna talk about poker a bit, but nothing new or exceptional has happened. Still playing, still enjoying it, just nothing worth mentioning.
